NEWLY PROPOSED GRADING SCALE FOR TASTED VINOS
"5" - SUPERB. It is so good, it makes you feel young again (or, if you are young, it is wasted on you). You won't get this often.
"4" - VERY GOOD. No need to explain. You will know right away.
"3"- GOOD. You like it. It is what you feel when you are pleased with yourself.
"2"- ACCEPTABLE. It is like going to work everyday. You don't much like it but got to do it.
"1"- BLEAACHH! Disgusting. Tell the winemaker to go back to his original profession, embalmer-in-chief to pharaoh Shishak.

Why embalmer-in-chief to Pharoah Shishak?
So what wines DO you like? Give us a hint.
Big Cabs.
these guys only like Big Cabs from California.
I like Bordeaux every-now-and-then, esp when just back from Paris.
I think you need to modify the grading scale by adding a 5th category as follows:
"5" - SUPERB. It is so good, it makes you feel young again (or, if you are young, it is wasted on you). You won't get this often.
"4" - VERY GOOD. No need to explain. You will know right away.
"3" - GOOD. You drink it, you like it, but there is nothing special about it and the experience reminds you of a lame orgasm.
"2"- ACCEPTABLE. It is like going to work everyday. You don't much like it but got to do it.
"1"- BLEAACHH! Disgusting. Tell the winemaker to go back to his original profession, embalmer-in-chief to pharaoh Shishak.
Examples of wines that fit the categories above:
5- Harlan Estate 2002
4- Caymus Special Selection 2002 or 2004.
3- Larkmead 2001, 2002 0r 2003
2- Chateau Hartman 2006
1- The wines Made in Romania and Florida.
Dear Winepath,
Why do you ask yourself a question and then answer it? Its a bit odd.
Piroca,
Chateau Hartmann 2006 has been upgraded to a 3, while the 2005, with distinct pinot noir characteristics is a 2.
